”A very successful Inverell’s Got Talent was held on Friday night. The audience was well entertained with plenty of variety.
The Overall Winner on the night was the duo VS & JM who sang Tennessee Whisky. Jonathan and Virgil are Papua New Guineas living in Inverell and on a 4-year contract at Bindaree. The inaugural Jenny Fox Memorial Junior winner was Savanah Lea who sang ‘Quiet’ from Matilda the Musical JR. The Best Original song was won by Alex Munro singing ‘Dust in the Wind’.
Top 4 in the Senior section were Kiara Lind dancing ‘Stone Cold’, Clara Bryan & Susan Davis singing ‘Rhythm of the Night’, Alex Munro and VS & JM.
Highly commended were Fletcher Andrews for public speaking in the Junior section, Sam Frazier performing ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ on piano and Northern Chorale singing ‘Lullabye’ in the Seniors.
