Last week, four students that we sponsored for the Honeywell Engineering Summer School gave an entertaining report at our dinner. Bailey Robinson-Kam, Victoria Sullivan, Boyd Power and Oskar Meszaros all enjoyed their experience and were grateful for the opportunity Inverell East Rotary gave them.

They visited various universities in Sydney last December. It was a great opportunity for the year 11 students to find out what fields of Engineering that are out there to be studied.

They have some big career plans .
They discussed all the businesses they visited and got to see the blast furnace which was used in the filming of Working Class Man by Jimmy Barnes… a real highlight.

They thanked us for the opportunity and thoroughly recommend it to future students. in Sydney for
They told us amongst other things that Caryn Morgan from Engineers Australia took special care of the Inverell students as they were the only students from rural NSW.

Our thanks go to Youth Director, Amy, for her organising of the students.
