The Australian Army Band Newcastle that entertained 250+ people on Tuesday night proved to be unforgettable. How could you forget them! From their choice of music and the standard of their performance to the solo instrumentalists and the singer Amelia from Hobart their presentation was faultless.

Successful events such as the concert on Tuesday evening require a team effort and our thanks go to Inverell Shire Council, the RSM Club, Les Moulds and John and Ros Scoble who got things rolling in the initial stages and got the posters around town. Thanks also to Paul Ray who was on the ready with the chip van, Don Learmonth who did a mighty job with the publicity (newspaper article, radio interviews and a verbal report at Probus), Peter Champion with facebook advertising, Leon Fox who moved chairs, Tim Newberry who calmed the waters with sound advice when a venue decision needed to be made and last but not least all the  members who were able to attend the concert.
