Honeywell Engineering Summer School

Our next project was the Honeywell Engineering Summer School, held from 3^rd – 8^th December 2023. We had four students attend this programme – Oskar Meszaros, Boyd Power, Bailey Robinson-Kam and Victoria Sullivan. These four students were THE ONLY students outside Sydney to attend the Summer School. The students had a fantastic week away with visits to the University of Sydney, the University of Wollongong, University of NSW, Macquarie University and University of Technology Sydney. They also had the amazing opportunity to visit the following engineering organisations – RAAF Base Richmond, BlueScope Steel in Wollongong, WestConnex, ANSTO nuclear reactor and Cochlear Ear Australia.

Our four participants attended one of our meetings on the 27^th February to give us a presentation of their experiences, which the membership thoroughly enjoyed! Well done to these four students for making the most of this opportunity – we can’t wait to see you achieve in your chosen career paths!
