Then the presentation of the Paul Harris Sapphire Pin to Paul Ray was well recieved by all in attendance. Paul’s contribution to our club and to the town over many years made his selection an easy choice. His wife, Helen, was presented with a bouquet of flowers in appreciation of all the support she has given to both Paul and Inverell East Rotary.
The investiture of Incoming President Bob Lea, the purpose of the Changeover Dinner, was carried out with solemnity and respect for the ideals of Rotary. After President Bob introduced his Board of Directors for the coming year the evening concluded with the National Anthem and a great deal of fellowship.
